Membership

Please join us as a new or continuing member of the Virginia Chapter of the ACNM. Our strength is in our unity.

Currently our goals are to:

1. Continue to build and support our Regional Midwife Group (RMG) system, which helps our members feel connected and involved in the State chapter. The RMG provides a social network, too!

2. Continue to develop educational and retreat opportunities for Virginia CNM's.

3. Strengthen our financial health.

4. Update the Virginia chapter website, to further support, promote, and improve communication among chapter CNM's. The website will also provide information about midwifery and other resources to consumers.

Stay abreast of issues affecting nurse-midwifery in Virginia . Add your energy to our momentum. Everyone’s input is invaluable whether you write letters, make phone calls, visit key people and legislators in your community or chair a chapter committee. Together we can create change.
